Build Timeline

Total build timeline is typically 6-12 months depending on house size, buyer involvement, customizations, weather, and other factors.

01-03 months

Construction Begins, Site Work, Foundation, & Concrete

Actual start date depends on permitting, weather, and banking. Upon commencement site work is completed, foundation excavated, foundation is installed, basement floor is poured, foundation is backfilled. 

02-04 months

Framing, Windows, Doors, Roof, Electric, Plumbing, HVAC

House is framed, windows installed, exterior doors installed, roof shingles completed, garage and porch concrete poured, and interior stairs installed. Electric, plumbing, heat installed. All selections and color choices must be completed by this phase of construction.

01-02 months

Exterior Finishes, Insulate, Drywall, Interior Doors & Trim

Exterior finishes installed, insulation installed, drywall and spackle completed, interior finish carpentry started including installation of interior doors and trim. 

02-03 months

Flooring, Cabinets, Countertops, Finish Electrical, Finish Plumbing, Painting

All interior finishes including flooring, cabinets, and tops completed. Final plumbing, electrical, heat and air conditioning installed. Final carpentry and punch work completed. Final inspections completed. Clean Up. Final Walkthrough... Move In!
